Lyder Group Inc (USA) – Expanding Our Legacy in the U.S.
Lyder Group Inc. has a long-standing history of real estate development, rooted in Taiwan, where we have successfully built multifamily apartments and townhomes for over three decades. Carrying the same business morale and commitment to community-driven development, our San Francisco Bay Area branch continues this legacy in the U.S. market.
With a focus on innovation and quality, Lyder Group Inc. (USA) is positioning itself as a key player in the evolving real estate landscape. Through strategic partnerships and advanced construction methodologies, we aim to contribute to sustainable growth while maintaining the highest standards of development.
James W, Principal of Lyder Group Inc. (USA), leads the company’s acquisition, design, development, and construction efforts. Over his 25-year career, he has contributed to more than 15 development projects.
Originally from Taiwan, James moved to Canada at fifteen and later earned a Computer Science degree from the University of British Columbia. In 2002, he obtained an MBA from Pepperdine University. His early career in the I.T. industry at IBM, NCR, and BenQ provided a strong foundation before transitioning to real estate. As the Director of Development at Lyder Group (Taiwan), he spearheaded innovative, eco-friendly construction solutions, collaborated with architects, managed site scheduling, and shaped pricing and marketing strategies for high-quality suburban apartments catering to young professionals and mid-income families.
Driven by a passion for real estate development and a mission to create equitable communities, James relocated to San Francisco Bay Area. He is currently an MRED candidate at Georgetown University and an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and San Francisco Planning and Urban Research (SPUR). Additionally, he is enrolled in Stanford Graduate School of Business’s LEAD Program.
In his free time, he enjoys skiing, playing basketball with his kids, and cheering for the Golden State Warriors, SF Giants, and 49ers.
